Aligning under Ricoh's Document Solutions and Services Division (DSSD), BPA combines consulting services and technical resources with an experienced sales force to help current and prospective customers analyze their document management operations. In addition, BPA helps customers implement appropriate solutions to meet compliance and safety regulations, and improve overall efficiency and profitability.

To evaluate customers' manual business processes in key practice areas including mailroom, finance, records management and order processing, Ricoh employs a Targeted Practice Approach (TPA). This approach enables Ricoh to assess its customers' unique needs, and address key business challenges including complexity reduction, process innovation and strategic cost reduction. Ricoh subject-matter experts are brought onsite to review and provide customized recommendations of process improvements that will enable business growth and create a sustainable competitive advantage.
