Hayes Announces Regional Extension Center Services

Hayes Management Consulting announced today its services for ARRA-funded Regional Extension Centers (RECs). Hayes, a national healthcare information technology consulting firm, is ranked the Top Professional Services Firm by KLAS Enterprises and has assisted provider practices and hospitals to implement electronic health records (EHRs) since 1993.

"We have been asked by organizations applying to be Regional Extension Centers for help should they receive funding," says Peter Butler, President of Hayes. "As the funding becomes available, there will be an urgent need to help physicians across the country implement EHRs and Health Information Exchanges using best practices. We look forward to helping the Regional Extension Centers with implementation, interoperability, clinical adoption and training."

Through a mandate of the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act of 2009 (ARRA), Regional Extension Centers are to be created to help providers in their geographic service areas select, successfully implement, and meaningfully use certified EHR technology to improve the quality and value of health care.
