Scout Mid Cap Fund Receives 5-Star Morningstar Rating
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Scout
Investment Advisors, Inc., a subsidiary of UMB Financial Corporation
(NASDAQ: UMBF), announced today that its Scout
Mid Cap Fund (UMBMX) has received a 5-star Overall Morningstar
Rating in its initial rating from Morningstar among 378 mid cap blend
funds. The 5-star rating is the highest rating bestowed by Morningstar
and was announced shortly after the Scout Mid Cap Fund passed its third
year since inception.

Lead portfolio manager Patrick Dunkerley has more than 16 years of
investment management experience and is the architect of the Scout Mid
Cap's investment process. Pat has managed the fund since its inception
in 2006. Additionally, the fund's management team includes assistant
portfolio manager Derek Smashey. Derek joined the Advisor in 2006.
The Scout Mid Cap Fund invests in a diversified portfolio of mid cap
companies with both quality and growth characteristics. The Fund favors
companies with strong fundamentals and attractive valuations.

weighted-average of the performance figures associated with its three-,
