One More North East Girl Molested By Her Show Room Manager in Gurgaon

A Naga girl from Manipur was molested by a show room manager last night in Gurgaon's Metropolitan Mall. Two girls pushed into the drainage area by 7 drunkards in Sikenderpur, Gurgaon under DLF Phase 2 policestation on November 3rd and two boys from Manipur were beaten the same night at the same place and another boy beaten at the same place the following day. Panic has spread among all North East India boys and girls living in Gurgaon. Uncontrolled racial attack on North East communities in the National Capital Region continues.

According to a source reaching the North East Support Centre & Helpline, says that a show room manager in the Metropolitan Mall in Gurgaon molested Ms. Sonia 20 yrs old (name change) from Manipur after refusing to see the nude pictures on the computer by her manager.

The incident happened at around 9:20 pm yesterday when she was alone in the show room sitting in front of the computer; her manager Mr. Vijay 30 yrs old starting seducing her by showing her the nude picture. "He forced me to sit and watch nude pictures and held me when I refused to see the nude pictures then he molested me," Ms. Sonia told NE Helpline. Ms. Sonia hails from the Ukhrul District of Manipur state and belongs to the Thankhul Naga tribe.

Three other socking racial attacks happened in Sikanderpur, Gurgaon this week. Two Naga girls in their 20's were returning home from their job on November 3, at around 8 PM, seven local men abused them and pushed them in a drainage area. Girls ran away from the scene to their rented rooms in the same locality. One of them works in the Mall and while the other was looking for a job along with her friends. They also hail from the Ukhrul district of Manipur and belong to same Thankhul Naga tribe.

After some time the same night, two Naga boys belonging to the same district and same tribe happened come across the place in Sikanderpur, seven people pushed two Naga girls into a drainage area. The same local men passed lewd remarks on them and started beating both of them. One boy got punched and managed to flee from the scene and another was severely beaten with kicks and punches and fell flat on the ground.

The following day, another boy from Manipur belonging to the Paite tribe was also reported beaten by locals at the same locality. Panic has aroused that they are too afraid to face the police to register the complaints in the police station. North East Support Centre & Helpline has appealed to student bodies, particularly the Naga Students' Union Delhi, who led the agitation against the gruesome killing of a 19 year old Naga girl in South Delhi on October 25, to mobilise and bring the issue to authorities in the National Capital Regions.
