The Department of Industrial Relations is proud to announce the launch of the 2009 "I Built It - Youth" public awareness campaign for California's youth. The Campaign is designed to promote careers in the construction trades through apprenticeship opportunities.

The campaign will include an energetic and age appropriate video which presents the concept of apprenticeships to students. This dynamic and engaging video features apprentices working in the field and highlighting the benefits of participating in an apprenticeship program. Superintendent of Schools Jack O'Connell has committed to show video to each middle and high school student in the state.
