Sync Contacts, Calendar, Tasks, and Notes Between PC, Google, and Droid

CompanionLink® Software, a leader in synchronization solutions, supports two-way sync of contacts, calendar, tasks, and notes between popular PC information management software and Google, which automatically synchronizes with the new Verizon Droid(TM). Desktop software such as Microsoft® Office Outlook®, Microsoft Exchange, IBM® Lotus Notes, Palm® Desktop, ACT! by Sage, GoldMine, and Novell® GroupWise are supported.

CompanionLink synchronizes data between the user's PC to their Google account, which natively syncs with the Droid. Two-way sync gives users the freedom to create, update, or delete data on their Droid, in their Google account, or in their PC software. CompanionLink's "Auto Synchronization" feature lets users choose how often the sync between PC and Google will occur, delivering hands-free sync and making the entire process transparent.

"The Verizon Droid is a big step forward for Android-based devices," said Rushang Shah, Director of Marketing at CompanionLink Software. "We're excited to announce two-way sync support between the PC, Google, and Droid on the same day it is available for sale. We're confident that our time-tested sync solutions will play a key role for Droid users who rely on the device to manage their contacts and schedule."

CompanionLink's products are available for a one-time license fee starting at $39.95. CompanionLink offers free email and telephone support. They also offer a hands-free configuration service, called RunStart, where qualified CompanionLink technicians log in to the user's PC and set up the entire sync process. A 14-day evaluation of CompanionLink is available at www.companionlink.com/android.
