SkyTerra Communications Announces Third-Quarter 2009 Conference Call

RESTON, Va. - (BUSINESS WIRE) - SkyTerra Communications, Inc. (OTCBB:SKYT) has scheduled its conference call to discuss 2009 third-quarter financial results and current business operations for Tuesday, November 10, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. EST. The call will be led by Alexander H. Good, Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of SkyTerra and Scott Macleod, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of SkyTerra.

SkyTerra expects to file a preliminary proxy statement in the near future with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) with respect to the proposed merger agreement for SkyTerra to be acquired by a new corporation formed and indirectly wholly-owned by Harbinger Capital Partners Master Fund I, Ltd and Harbinger Capital Partners Special Situations Fund, L.P.

SkyTerra management will not respond to questions about the proposed merger agreement on this quarterly call, given that the preliminary proxy statement has not yet been filed or reviewed by the SEC. Shareholders will have the opportunity to consider the definitive proxy statement prior to making their decision with respect to the proposed transaction.
