Melbourne Independent Filmmakers Festival to Include Special Programming
In its 11th year, the Melbourne Independent Filmmakers Festival continues to be a fun metropolitan venue for some of today's most inventive filmmakers, with proceeds from the festival benefiting local charities Unconditional Love, Inc. and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The event is scheduled for Nov 13-14th at the Premiere Theaters Oaks Stadium 10.
On Saturday afternoon, they will be showing a festival-only workshop and documentary Perfect Imperfection: The Making and Saving of I'll Believe You. This is followed by a frank and honest discussion (with Q&A) detailing "what we did right and what we did wrong" filming a feature in Melbourne, Florida featuring writer- director Paul Sullivan, writer-producer Ted Sullivan, film star Patrick Gallo, comedian Eric Price (Action Auto, MadTV) and Editor Greg Lee. This year, they will also be premiering the festival cut of Michael Sellers' Beneath the Blue as part of their VIP red carpet and reception on Saturday Nov 14th. Celebrity guests are expected.
