Stefanini IT Solutions to Support U.S./Brazil IT-BPO Summit Spotlighting Brazil's Emergence as Global IT Leader
Marco Stefanini, President and Founder of Top Brazilian Outsourcer, to Participate in Panel on U.S./Brazil IT-BPO Trends, Opportunities, Challenges

Stefanini IT Solutions
(www.stefanini.com), a global provider of IT consulting, systems
integration, and outsourcing services, announced their participation in the
U.S./Brazil IT-BPO Summit on November 10, 2009 in New York City. The event
will bring together business leaders, decision makers and investors to
focus on trends and opportunities between the U.S. and Brazil in the IT-BPO
sector. Marco Stefanini, President and CEO of Stefanini, will participate
in a panel titled, "U.S./Brazil IT-BPO Trends, Opportunities and
Challenges."
The event is sponsored by the Brazilian Association of Information
Technology and Communication Companies (BRASSCOM) and the Brazilian Trade
and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil). At the event, the
"Brazil IT-BPO Book" developed by BRASSCOM and Apex-Brasil will be
officially launched. The "Brazil IT-BPO Book" is the most comprehensive
study to date on Brazil's information and communication technology (ICT)
sector.
"As a longtime leader in the Brazilian IT community, Stefanini is pleased
to join in this effort to help generate and raise global awareness of
Brazil as a premier technology provider in the global IT services market,"
said Antonio Moreira, Stefanini's CEO of North America. "This
much-anticipated U.S./Brazil IT-BPO Summit and the release of the "Brazil
IT-BPO Book" reinforce Brazil's growing influence in the global IT market."
After decades of development, Brazil's IT-BPO market is among the strongest
and most advanced in the world, and along with communications, accounts for
approximately 7 percent of Brazil's GDP. Large national Brazilian companies
operate in the country, as well as the most multinational companies of
various origins.
In fact, the strength and marketability of the Brazilian IT services and
business process outsourcing (BPO) industry is reflected in growth
forecasts which have remained high despite the global economic crisis.
Private industry and the Brazilian government are working together to
position the country as an increasingly relevant and strategic global
player in IT-BPO.
Stefanini is the largest Brazilian native IT services company. The company
was incorporated in the United States in 2001, and in 2008 its U.S.
operations increased by 62 percent from the previous year. The company
currently has North American offices in Fort Lauderdale, New York City,
Atlanta, Chicago and Montreal.
