Ambit Energy Recognized As 'Fastest Growing Company' in Dallas

DALLAS - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Ambit Energy, a leading national retail energy provider based in north Texas, was honored as the fastest-growing privately held company in Dallas for 2009 by the Dallas 100 Awards co-founded by Southern Methodist University's Cox School of Business and the SMU Caruth Center for Entrepreneurship.

To qualify for the Dallas 100^TM, a company must be privately held and headquartered in the Dallas area. Award winners were chosen based on increased growth in sales, with weight placed on percentage of growth and absolute dollar growth in the three years preceding the event.
