NWP Services Corporation Announces Agreement With SolarCity
Company's Team to Bring Alternative, Renewable Solar Energy Solutions to the Multifamily Housing Industry

NWP Services Corporation (NWP), a leading
provider of utility management solutions in the multifamily housing
industry, today announced an agreement with SolarCity, a national leader in
solar financing, design, installation, monitoring and related services,
whereby the two companies will team to make it easier for property owners
and operators to deploy and benefit from onsite solar power generation at
their multifamily communities. Together, the companies will identify
solutions that overcome the traditional hurdles faced by clients as they
consider leveraging unused roof and other available space to generate power
onsite.
"For years NWP has been a leader in delivering solutions that reduce,
recover and offset the utility spend for our multifamily clients. Now,
with technological improvements and the available financial incentives,
onsite solar power generation deserves serious consideration as an
additional opportunity to improve a property's net operating income," said
Michael Radice, president and CEO of NWP. "We sought a partner with a
stellar reputation, one that could deliver a full suite of services and
meet the financial and installation challenges needed to make solar power a
justifiable solution for our clients. Additionally, we required a partner
to have the financial and organizational substance to be a nationwide
provider as federal, state and local incentives for renewable energy
sources grow in prevalence and popularity; we are confident that we have
found that partner in SolarCity," added Radice.
"New financing, operations and technology advancements can allow
multifamily housing owners in many locations to pay less for clean solar
power than they would pay for electricity without solar," said John
Lefebvre, SolarCity's vice president of sales and business development.
"We're excited to work with NWP, a well-known and trusted name in smart
utility management in the multifamily housing industry, to extend new solar
power options to multifamily housing operators that can lower their energy
costs from day one."
Now, multifamily housing owners and operators can rely upon a trusted
source to receive a comprehensive assessment of the physical and financial
feasibility of adding onsite solar power generation to their properties.
NWP will introduce SolarCity at the upcoming National Multi-Housing Council
(NMHC) Apartment Technology Conference to be held November 8-10 at the JW
Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa in Phoenix, Arizona.
