Dallas 100 Awards Lists Accudata Technologies Among North Texas' Fastest-Growing Private Companies
DALLAS - (BUSINESS WIRE) - The Dallas 100 Awards recently recognized Accudata
Technologies (www.accudatatech.com),
a leader in telephone number data-validation service, as one of the
Dallas area's fastest-growing private companies. The award, co-founded
by The Caruth Institute for Entrepreneurship at Southern Methodist
University's Cox School of Business, was presented to Accudata at the
annual ceremony, held Wednesday at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony
Center. Accudata was honored by the Dallas 100 twice before in 2004 and
2005.
In its 19th year, the Dallas 100 Awards is an annual event
that identifies and honors the 100 fastest-growing privately held
companies in the Dallas area. To qualify for the prestigious award, a
company must meet a number of criteria based on its legal status,
location, sales history, credit report and character.
"These past two years, Accudata exhibited strength, innovation and
resilience in a turbulent economic climate, and this Dallas 100 award
brings further validation to all of our efforts," said Accudata CEO Greg
Smith. "Accudata customers spanning markets like telecommunications,
finance and Internet retail demand an information service built on
reliability, flexibility and speed. One of the greatest compliments we
receive, in addition to awards like the Dallas 100, is the continued
support from our customers themselves. And that is why we strive to
provide them with the most accurate information when they need it most."
The Dallas 100 Awards marks the continuation of Accudata's recent
successes. Recently, Accudata was a finalist at the Celebration of
Enterprise Awards, which annually honors companies that demonstrate the
entrepreneurial spirit that keeps Collin County thriving. As an
individual honor, Accudata Chief Technology Officer Monica Martino was
recognized by the Dallas Business Journal as one of the "Top 25
Women to Watch" in the Dallas area.
All of the recognition stems from recent accomplishments like the
company successfully landing two U.S. patents that enabled Accudata to
call itself America's most accurate telephone number-validation service
provider and to greatly expand the capabilities of modern-day Caller ID
services to new regions and new devices. Also, Accudata formed Privus
Mobile (www.privusmobile.com),
a subsidiary which utilizes Accudata's comprehensive databases to
provide actual Caller ID to smartphones for the first time. Now mobile
phones using BlackBerry, Windows Mobile, Symbian, Android and Apple
operating systems have the ability to experience better call management
than landline phones.
