Israel takes another step towards securing an attack on Iran
By Ian Brockwell
Israel's obsession with wanting to destroy any possible military threat in Iran, has become even stronger than the desire of the Elite to steal the oil that Iran possesses.
According to a recent report, Israel stopped a ship called the Francop off the coast of Cyprus and allegedly found a shipment of hundreds of tons of rockets, missiles, mortars, grenades and anti-tank weapons (apparently at least 3,000 missiles were on board).
We are told that the shipment was heading for Syria (which is disputed) and that the ultimate recipients of the arms were Hamas.
Let's assume for a moment that all of this is true. If the hatred Iran has for Israel is real (something Israel keep telling us), why would they send weapons that are not exactly "state of the art"? Sure, they are dangerous and can kill, but hardly the most destructive missiles available on the market.
Israel claims that Hamas have stockpiled a large number of these missiles, yet we all know how difficult it is to import goods of any kind into Gaza (even medicine and life saving supplies). How on earth are weapons getting through, when more essential items are not?
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was quoted as saying the following "Whoever still needed indisputable proof that Iran continues to send weapons to terror organizations got it today in a clear and unequivocal manner. Iran sends these weapons to terror organizations in order to hit Israeli cities and kill civilians.... The time has come for the international community to put real pressure on Iran for it to halt this despicable activity and back Israel when it defends itself against terrorists and their patrons"
Once again Israelis promote themselves as the "victim" and we are reminded of a line from a Carry On film (by Kenneth Williams): "Infamy! Infamy! They've all got it in for me!"
Even if we forget the 200 plus nuclear weapons that Israel has, they still have a formidable conventional force, and make the "missiles" that Hamas are allegedly receiving seem like fireworks in comparison.
Perhaps Israel has forgotten that they supplied Georgia with much more powerful weapons (and military personnel to train Georgians in how to use them) just before the conflict between Georgia and Russia, which cost the lives of more than a thousand people (mainly civilians).
If the international community needs to apply "real pressure" on a country, it should be Israel!
Benjamin Netanyahu and his supporters need to get in touch with reality. This "victim" routine is wearing very thin and the international community is getting very tired of hearing it.
The people of Israel must wake up to what is happening and put pressure on their own leaders to stop this madness. People like Netanyahu know exactly what will happen if Israel attacks Iran. Iran will retaliate in the strongest possible way and you can be certain that thousands of Israelis will die as a result.
Unfortunately, the leaders in Israel (who support such an attack) will use the deaths of its citizens for promotional purposes (the New Holocaust) and try to make everyone else on the planet feel guilty about it. But if it does happen, remember that with the exception of some Israeli leaders and the US Administration (egged on by Israeli supporters), no one else on the planet wants to see such a war in the Middle East.
Iran is no threat to Israel or any other country, the attack (which is almost certain to happen) has three purposes. The first is to eliminate the only potential military danger in the Middle East (to Israel). The second is to create a situation where the US can invade Iran (just like Iraq) and steal the oil. And the third is the sympathy Israel will try and obtain because of the deaths to its people.
This is not the first time this trick has been used, and less people are going to be fooled by it. At worst it could create World War III, or see Israel and its people shunned by the rest of the world. An attack on Iran is pure insanity and must be stopped at all costs.
