Goat Advocacy Group SuperGoat.org Issues Pro Goat Statement in Response to New Film "The Men Who Stare at Goats"

SAN FRANCISCO - (BUSINESS WIRE) - The psychic spies featured in the new film "The Men Who Stare at Goats" may be able to "kill a goat simply by staring at it," but according to SuperGoat.org, that would be impossible.

"Even though the movie portrays goats as susceptible to mind control experiments, in real life it would be quite the opposite. Once you look into a goat's eyes, it's more likely they'll have control over you," said Jennifer Bice, Owner, Redwood Hill Farm & Creamery, home to 350 goats, and Founding Member of SuperGoat.org. "Goats are sweet, loving, intelligent creatures who contribute much to society."

Most of the milk used throughout the world comes from goats - and with good reason. Goat's milk is lactose friendly, easy to digest and naturally homogenized with no growth hormones. It has more calcium, vitamins A and D and minerals than milk from cows. A recent "Dateline NBC" report from the Blue Zone of Ikaria, Greece revealed goat's milk as "Secret #1 For Living a Healthier, Happier Life."

Goats are earth-friendly - their smaller size means that goats literally leave a smaller carbon "hoof" print. Agricultural runoff from factory farms is the single largest source of water pollution, but most goat farms are small, family run, bio diverse and don't cause runoff or create nearly as much waste as cow dairies. Goats use less energy and contrary to popular belief, are picky eaters that are light on their feet, don't destroy pastures and eat dry brush that causes wildfires.
