LOS ANGELES - (BUSINESS WIRE) - D3Publisher announced today that PSP (PlayStationPortable) system
classic games Ben 10 : Protector of Earth and BEN 10
ALIEN FORCE The Game are now available for download via the
PlayStationStore in North America. PSP system owners will no longer
need a UMD to play Ben 10: Protector of Earth, the
first-ever interactive title based on Cartoon Network's Emmy-winning Ben
10 animated series, or the fast-paced, 3D action
adventure game, BEN 10 ALIEN FORCE The Game, as they are
now available for download via the PlayStation Store. Ben 10:
Protector of Earth is available for download for $14.99 and BEN
10 ALIEN FORCE The Game is available for download for $19.99.
"Accessibility is key. We have made Ben 10: Protector of Earth
and BEN 10 ALIEN FORCE The Game available through a simple
and easy digital download to accommodate the evolving way people play
games," said Michael Scharnikow, director of business development and
licensing, D3Publisher. "Both Ben 10: Protector of Earth
and BEN 10 ALIEN FORCE The Game are perfect for fans of
the series or new recruits who want to experience the adventures of Ben
Tennyson and his alien forms at a great value on the PSP system."
In the brand's first interactive game, Ben 10: Protector of Earth,
Ben Tennyson uses the power of the alien Omnitrix device to defend the
world from evildoers from Earth and space. The Omnitrix enables Ben to
transform into fan-favorite alien beings Heatblast, Fourarms, XLR8,
Cannonbolt and Wildvine and take on each of their unique powers and
abilities, all while retaining his 10-year-old personality. The art
style, sound effects and music in Ben 10: Protector of Earth are
100% authentic, with all audio effects pulled directly from the show's
sound vaults and all voice acting provided by the original television
cast. Ben 10: Protector of Earth is an exciting adventure
that Ben 10 fans will adore as they embark on a quest to stop
Vilgax and save the day!
BEN 10 ALIEN FORCE The Game begins five
years after Ben put away the DNA-scrambling Omnitrix, but now Grandpa
Max has gone missing and the planet Earth is in grave danger. Gamers
must help Ben take the Omnitrix out of retirement and lead eight
different playable characters-including cousin Gwen, enemy-turned-ally
Kevin Levin and five of Ben's brand new alien forms-Swampfire, Jet Ray,
Humungousaur, Spidermonkey and Big Chill-to utilize their all-new super
powers and defeat the intergalactic Highbreed invaders! Gamers will
experience all-new story content in a fast-paced, 3D, action adventure
offering an unlimited combo system with puzzles and challenges that will
engage players of all levels for hours at a time.
Ben 10: Protector of Earth for the PSP system was
developed by High Voltage Software, Inc. and is rated "E 10+" (Everyone
