Atheros to Webcast Analyst Day Event on November 5, 2009

communications, today announced that it will webcast its Analyst Day for
equity analysts and institutional investors on Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009 at 1
p.m. to 5 p.m. Pacific Time (4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Eastern Time). The public
may listen to a live webcast of presentations made by members of Atheros'
executive team from the Investors section of the Atheros website at
www.atheros.com. A replay of the event will be available from the
company's website approximately one hour after the conclusion of the event.
