Cadillac Chooses Pandora Platform for First Foray Into Mobile Advertising
Luxury Carmaker Taps Pandora's Expansion Onto Android Platform to Reach Key Target

Pandora Media, Inc. (www.pandora.com), the
leading provider of personalized Internet radio, announced today that
Cadillac will be the premier and exclusive advertiser on Pandora's launch
of its latest mobile marketing platform on the Android smart phone. In
doing so, Cadillac will take advantage of the exponentially growing smart
phone market -- Pandora reports 200,000 new registered mobile users per
week -- and leverages Pandora's rigorous mobile marketing strategy to
extend its footprint on the most popular and easily adaptable smart phone
platforms in order to reach high-value mobile users.
"With this strategy, Pandora continues its mobile leadership position and
enables us to take this rapidly growing user base to premium brands like
Cadillac and ensure that they will be able reach and engage a core
demographic target with their marketing message," said Aimee Higgins, vice
president, sales strategy and planning for Pandora. "Cadillac smartly wants
to reach hip, on-the-go, affluent consumers -- an audience Pandora readily
delivers. Our goal is to offer top brands like Cadillac the most effective
mobile marketing platform to reach its core target for its new crossover
model."
Advertising on smart phones marks a first for Cadillac, and the company has
chosen its new 2010 SRX crossover model to feature in the advertising
campaign. Cadillac will be the sole advertiser on Pandora's Android
platform through the end of 2009.
About Pandora
Pandora (www.pandora.com) is a personalized Internet radio and music
discovery service available anytime and anywhere on the PC, in the home,
and on mobile devices (including the Palm Pre, BlackBerry smart phones,
iPhones and Android platform devices) via partnerships with AT&T, Apple,
RIM and Sprint. Pandora is based on the Music Genome Project begun in 2000
and is the most thorough analysis of popular music ever undertaken. Each
song in this massive collection is analyzed by one of more than 35 trained
musicians, and assessed against up to nearly 400 distinct musical
attributes such as melody, harmony, and rhythm to capture its unique
musical identity. Using this information to build playlists based on
musical similarity, listeners can simply enter a favorite song or artist,
and instantly launch a personalized listening experience which includes
discovery of new bands, artists and songs. Pandora is the largest online
music site based on monthly unique visitors, has a growing user base of
more than thirty-five million registered listeners, a database of over
700,000 songs, and national advertisers such as Levi's, Best Buy, Target,
Honda, Procter & Gamble, and Nike.
