Space Hotel To Open In 2012! Would You Book A Pod (Room)?

"A company behind plans to open the first hotel in space says it is on target to accept its first paying guests in 2012 despite critics questioning the investment and time frame for the multi-billion dollar project.
The Barcelona-based architects of The Galactic Suite Space Resort say it will cost 3 million euro ($4.4 million) for a three-night stay at the hotel, with this price including an eight-week training course on a tropical island.
During their stay, guests would see the sun rise 15 times a day and travel around the world every 80 minutes. They would wear velcro suits so they can crawl around their pod rooms by sticking themselves to the walls like Spiderman." Reuters
This is a fantastic idea, who doesn't want to get away from it all? I couldn't live without my computer and cell phone, but for just a few days I would love to be in a place where my cranky boss can't email me, and my meddlesome friends can't reach me.
My budget only allows for a stay at the Super 8 motel, but hopefully during my lifetime the average person will be able to afford a stay at a space hotel. You've heard of the "Mile High Club", soon there will be a "Space Club."
One major disadvantage to staying at a space hotel is the weightlessness. Hotel guests would have to wear velcro suits so they can crawl around their pod rooms by sticking themselves to the walls like damn insects. I hope the velcro is industrial strength, so that guests could experience the magic of making love attached to the ceiling.
The eight-week training course on a tropical island will probably be a hell of a lot more fun than the three nights in the space hotel, but who doesn't want to make history and be one of the first to stay in a space hotel?
