Local Online Marketing Leader, Local Thunder, Names David Vazdauskas President

Mr. Vazdauskas, a twenty-five year marketing, advertising and branding strategy veteran, will lead Local Thunder's next stage of growth in the $13 billion local online advertising category.

Mr. Vazdauskas' background includes senior executive positions with two Boston-area Internet companies and one of the nation's largest consumer banks. Additionally, he was formerly a Partner at Lippincott & Margulies, the New York-based brand strategy consultancy, and was also a partner at the international management-consulting firm Mercer Management Consulting. He began his career at New York advertising agencies Foote, Cone & Belding and Saatchi & Saatchi.

Geoffrey Minte, who previously held the Chief Executive Officer and President titles, will continue as CEO of the company. "David's unique blend of experience in the consumer technology, media and advertising industries makes him the perfect leader for our next stage of growth," said Mr. Minte.
