Veramark's Josh Bouk Receives "Forty Under 40" Award

Veramark's Vice President of Customer Services and Other Outstanding Rochester-Area Professionals Will Be Honored at Upcoming Awards Luncheon in Rochester

Veramark Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB: VERA), a leading provider of Telecom Expense Management (TEM) solutions, is proud to announce that Josh Bouk, Veramark's Vice President of Customer Services, has received the Rochester Business Journal's prestigious 2009 Forty Under 40 award.

Nominated by the community and selected by a committee of business leaders, the Forty Under 40 award recognizes forty men and women, under the age of 40, who have achieved professional success and have also made significant civic contributions to our community. This is the 15th year of the program, which selects "the best of the best" from the hundreds of nominations submitted each year.

Professional achievements are a major consideration in the selection process. Josh has 15 years of experience building software and technology businesses through the creation of customer-focused sales, marketing, consulting, delivery and support organizations. At Veramark, Josh created a world-class services organization to serve the company's extensive Fortune 1000 customer base.

In his previous position as COO of Connected Energy Corporation, Josh was instrumental in successfully positioning the company for acquisition by BPL Global and securing a positive outcome for CEC's investors and employees. Josh began his career at Millennium Computer Corp., where he held leadership roles in engineering, project management and sales. Later, as Managing Director of ePlus Consulting, a division of publicly traded ePlus, inc., Josh successfully grew the division by establishing a reputation of quality, value, and integrity across the ePlus customer base.

Josh is also active in the community and generously donates his time and talents to a number of local organizations. He serves as President of Digital Rochester, and as a member of the Boards of Trustees of Roberts Wesleyan College and Northeastern Seminary. Josh also serves as an advisor to Blue Hill Partners, a Philadelphia-based energy-sector VC firm.

In his far-reaching professional and public service roles, Josh has had the opportunity to work with -- and make an impression on -- many other talented individuals throughout the Rochester community.
