NuU Medspa Sponsors 17th Annual Cocktails for a Cause

Chicago, IL, November 04, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The 17th Annual Cocktails for a Cause held Friday, October 23, 2009 was a tremendous success raising $200,000 for pediatric cancer research. The Medical Research Junior Board held Cocktails for a Cause at the Museum of Contemporary Art.

NuU Medspa sponsored all level donations to benefit pediatric medical research at Children's Memorial Hospital and the Children's Memorial Research Center (CMRC). Through support and generous donations from local vendors and businesses, the CMRC met their goal of $200,000 in donations.

The night was filled with delicious food selections from local Chicago restaurants, silent auction and musical entertainment.

Kendra Vargas, Lincoln Park manager, was thrilled she was able to be in the same company of Chicagoans who share the same love of children and making a difference. Kendra shares, “The night was simply perfect, fun was had while thousands of dollars were raised for a beautiful cause.”
