Past Yawns Open, Fate Smiles -- Heartwarming, Sexy Plot Unfolds in High-Octane Spy Romance
CORONA, Calif., Nov. 3, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Robert H. Doss engages readers with espionage, danger, and steamy romance with the story of special agent Lafayette Freedman and his sordid, exciting life in When Fate Smiles, Doss' high-octane fiction published through Xlibris.
Set in the 1970s, When Fate Smiles dawns on the Quality Technicians', or Q.T.'s, latest mission. Investigating the threat of chemical warfare in Cuba, Lafayette Freedman, or Fate, goes down with a life-threatening bullet. In the in and out wakefulness of his injury, his tightly shut past pries open and a flood of memories of old times and old flames rushes into his wavering consciousness.
Doss skillfully employs flashbacks and the alluring element of romance as he drills into the tough crust of a hardened soldier to reveal the soft heart within. Meanwhile, he cleverly unfolds a heartwarming and sexy plot that will make When Fate Smiles an irresistible read.
"...Compelling, romantic and hotter than the chemical warfare."
