Boxer Wachler Vision Institute Announces First Ever 'LASIK Idol' Contest
LOS ANGELES - (BUSINESS WIRE) - World-renowned eye surgeon Dr.
Brian Boxer Wachler celebrated his birthday Monday with the official
launch of LASIK
IdolTM, an original song and video competition that will
give one lucky contestant the chance to perform their way to perfect
vision. Contestants may enter by submitting an original musical
performance explaining why they deserve to win a free
LASIK procedure valued at $6,700. To show his enthusiasm and
demonstrate that just about anyone can enter the contest, Dr. Brian and

Wachler Vision Institute have created their own hip-hop debut,
featured on the LASIK Idol website. And yes, that rapping doc is none

The contest is open to California residents 21 years or older who

site for download in several different genres to appeal to just about
any musical taste.
Each video will be judged on the lyrics, talent, and overall video
quality. The contest submission deadline is on January 30, 2010 at which
point the 32 best entries will be posted for voting online. Friends,
family, Facebook contacts, co-workers and other fans are encouraged to
visit the site and vote for their favorite LASIK
Idol Star!
Two bright-eyed finalists will be selected from the top 32 entries and
will have the exclusive opportunity to compete LIVE in Los
Angeles in front of a celebrity judge.
