Premier Awards Non-Invasive Orthopaedics Agreement to Ossur

      

Ossur, a global leader in non-invasive orthopaedics, announced today that it has been awarded a multi-year contract with Premier Purchasing Partners, the group purchasing unit of Premier, Inc. Premier consists of approximately 2,200 not-for-profit hospitals and healthcare systems, including large systems operating multiple hospitals, academic medical centers associated with universities, and community-owned hospitals, all who entirely own Premier. Beginning December 1, Premier members will have access to pre-negotiated pricing and terms for Ossur's complete line of functional knee braces and supports, spinal products, and other soft goods, including leading brands like the Miami J® Cervical Collar, which is clinically proven to provide superior immobilization.

The contract decision-making process was based on extensive member-driven criteria, including value, product line breadth, clinical acceptability, new product development and service capabilities.
