Telcobuy Wins Multi-Year Supply Chain Management Contract with Alcatel-Lucent
ST. LOUIS - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Telcobuy, a subsidiary of World Wide Technology Holding Company, and a
leading provider of supply chain solutions, today announced it has won a
multi-year, national-scale, order-fulfillment and professional services
contract with Alcatel-Lucent (NYSE: ALU). The five-year supply chain
management contract includes end-to-end order fulfillment from
warehousing to freight logistics. Telcobuy is one of the country's
leading minority-owned businesses.
Under the terms of the agreement, Telcobuy will perform order
fulfillment and deployment of Alcatel-Lucent's installation-related
materials, and manage its North American supply chain for finished
goods. The company will support all Alcatel-Lucent product lines and
consolidate existing logistics service centers throughout the U.S. into
a single state-of-the-art, 480,000 square foot distribution center in
Lewisville, Texas. Telcobuy will provide services through its renowned
supply chain planning capabilities, which include the world's
most-advanced suite of e-commerce and supply chain optimization
applications.
