Unitrends Names Michael Coney President and CEO
COLUMBIA, S.C. - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Unitrends (www.unitrends.com),
the leader in affordable, heterogeneous disk-based data protection
appliances, today announced that Michael Coney has been appointed
president and CEO by the Unitrends board of directors. Coney is a
technology industry veteran with many years of management successes at
high-growth companies.

Prior to joining Unitrends as CEO, Coney served as the president and
general manager of Acronis Americas. Before his time with Acronis, Coney
held various executive and management positions at high-growth companies
including VERITAS, Sun Microsystems, Ingres, and Monster.com. Coney also
served six years in the Armed Forces as a member of the United States
Army Intelligence Team. He is a graduate of the Executive Leadership
Program at the Wharton School of Business, and he earned a Bachelor's
degree from the New York Institute of Technology.
