Messaging Comes Easy with Launch of Samsung DoubleTakeTM from Alltel Wireless
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. & DALLAS - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Alltel Wireless and Samsung Telecommunications America (Samsung Mobile)1,

announced the availability of the Samsung DoubleTakeTM
handset on Thursday, Nov. 5, in Alltel retail stores and online at
alltel.com. With the holiday season right around the corner, texters
should put this phone at the top of their wishlist to Santa. The Samsung
DoubleTake includes a sliding full QWERTY keyboard - great for sending a
quick text to a friend or a holiday-themed photo to the entire family.
The phone's Bluetooth capabilities, built in speakerphone and internal
phone book with up to 1000 entries keeps Alltel customers connected,
even during the busiest time of year. Available in bold red and sleek
charcoal gray, the Samsung DoubleTake also includes a 1.3 megapixel
camera and a vibrant, full-color external LCD screen.

The Samsung DoubleTake is available for $39.99 after a $50 mail-in
rebate with activation of a 1-year service contract on a qualifying rate
plan. Alltel is the only major wireless carrier to offer 2-year postpaid
handset pricing to those signing 1-year contracts, creating enhanced
flexibility and greater choice for customers.
The Samsung DoubleTake and 1-year contract option is available only to
customers in the 91 cellular market areas (CMAs) that Verizon Wireless
is required to divest, which will continue to operate as Alltel Wireless
until the sale agreements with AT&T and Atlantic Tele-Network are
approved by the Department of Justice and Federal Communications
Commission.
