Tea Party Express Leaders Prepare for Hoffman Victory in Ny-23 Special Election
Tea Party Express (website) leaders are excited about Tuesday's Special Election in the NY-23 congressional district.
Leaders of the Tea Party Express - including the principle sponsoring organization, the Our Country Deserves Better Committee, took heat from some, including some fellow activists in the tea party movement, when they endorsed Conservative Party candidate, Doug Hoffman. The Tea Party Express leaders explained their decision to endorse Hoffman:
"In order to take our country back, we must vote out the worst offenders in Congress and replace them with true-blue conservatives. Doug Hoffman is that candidate in this campaign and we were enthusiastic to endorse his campaign and reject the Republican and Democratic candidates," said Mark Williams, Co-Chairman of the Tea Party Express.
The Our Country Deserves Better Committee contributed $1,000 to Hoffman's campaign and produced this radio ad supporting Hoffman:
