VIDEO from Medialink and General Motors: Life in the Fast Lane
NEW YORK, Nov. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- When most people retire they take up golfing, but 101-year-old Virgil Coffman is living life in the fast lane. The active centenarian recently became the oldest-known living owner of a new 2010 Camaro.

Despite initial concern from the sales associate, Coffman knew exactly what he wanted when he purchased the 400 horsepower, bright yellow, Transformers edition Camaro. Impressed by the overall design, Virgil was ultimately sold on the cars' easy handling. After owning nearly 40 cars in his lifetime, he follows the philosophy that if you want something, get it.
These days Virgil says he can't go anywhere without strangers asking him about his car and he's already planning road trips for next summer.
