Louis Moinet Timepieces Now Available at Select High-End Jewelers

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Louis Moinet North America (www.LMTime.com), which safeguards the 200 year old legacy of renowned watchmaker Louis Moinet, today announced that several high-end retailers have been chosen to carry its luxury line of watches.

Louis Moinet timepieces are admired and well-regarded throughout Europe but have only been available in the US since April 2008. In keeping with the brand's exclusive nature, the watches are only available through an extremely limited group of leading jewelry stores, which now includes Grenon's of Newport, Rhode Island, The Balance Wheel in Beaver Creek, Colorado, M.J. Miller & Co. in Barrington, Illinois, and Lussori of Carmel, California. This new selection of retailers joins Levinson Jewelers in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, which has been carrying the full Louis Moinet line since May 2009.

Ray Grenon, owner of Grenon's of Newport, says sales of Louis Moinet watches have been strong since he began carrying the line this summer. "Customers love to see inventory they can't find elsewhere, and it helps our store stand out," he said. Grenon also touts the brand's easily recognized quality as a strong selling point. "There are many high-end brands out there, yet in an attempt to be understated some are downright boring. In these cases, customers have to trust the sales person because the quality is on the inside. However, with Louis Moinet the customer does not need to be a watch expert to appreciate the elaborate dials, intricate casework and beautiful movements," he stated.

The Balance Wheel in Beaver Creek has also received positive feedback from clients. "When customers see a Louis Moinet watch for the first time, they know it is unlike anything else they have seen before," said owner Kevin Cannel. ''It's easy to impress a client when they learn that each watch model is limited to only 60 pieces worldwide."

Ray Grenon agrees, stating, "This is not a watch for the 'me too' customer. There are plenty of brands for that. This is for the discriminate watch buyer who wants something nobody else has."

Michael Brader-Araje, President of Louis Moinet North America, is pleased with this elite group of retailers and excited about expected watch sales in the fourth quarter. "These retailers all share a reputation for carrying exceptional timepieces that clients simply cannot find elsewhere," said Brader-Araje. The beauty, quality, and rarity found in Louis Moinet watches are exactly what discerning clients have come to expect when visiting these fine retailers."
