Historic Powerhouse Presentation at the Murer House, Nov. 19th
Folsom Powerhouse Historic Slide Show
Powerhouse docent Art Pancheri is giving a slide presentation on the history of the Folsom Powerhouse, Thursday, November 19th, at 7:30 pm at the Murer House in Folsom. Historic photos help tell the story of this first world-famous site in our own backyard.
Visitors come from Europe and Asia to see the site of the first in electric power generation. Learn how this plant was planned and how it helped develop our global electrical grid. Mr. Pancheri is retired from the electrical industry having sold electronic equipment for use on everything from submarines to space vehicles.
The Powerhouse Museum on Riley St is open to the Public from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Wednesdays through Sunday. With the addition of the new Visitors Center, the Park needs additional personnel for it's VIP and Docent Programs.
