Banner Pharmacaps' Gelcaps Line to Be Distributed in US by Midway Importing
HIGH POINT, N.C. - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Banner Pharmacaps Inc. has signed an agreement with Midway Importing
Inc. for the exclusive marketing and distribution of Banner's Gelcaps
Primero la Familia product line in the United States. Banner's Gelcaps
has been the leading brand of high quality nutritional supplements in
Mexico for over 20 years, and this highly-recognized brand will now be
available in Hispanic markets throughout the United States. The initial
Gelcaps offering in the US consists of ten dietary supplement softgels;
among them are Cod Liver Oil, Fish Oil, Lecithin, Zinc and Vitamin D3.
The Primero la Familia line will also contain two popular cosmetic
products. The familiar amber bottles with the iconic Gelcaps label will
be instantly recognizable as a product from "home" for Mexican-Americans.
Midway Importing Inc. of Houston, Texas, is the largest importer and
distributor of Hispanic health and beauty care products in the United
States, servicing over 30,000 stores, including CVS, Rite-Aid, Sam's
Club, Walgreens and Walmart, in 42 states. Banner will collaborate with
Midway in the development of marketing and advertising programs for the
Gelcaps Primero La Familia line.
Banner's R&D Center of Excellence for Nutritional Supplements located in
Mexico City, Mexico, will provide an expanded line of innovative
offerings for the American Gelcaps family of products.
