Laser Soft, a Polaris Group Company Wins NDTV Business Leadership Awards 2009

NDTV Profit Business Leadership Awards were announced on October 26 in Mumbai, honoring the companies at the forefront of Indian business and industry. The awards acknowledged the most dynamic Indian organizations and the best business leaders who have fuelledIndia's journey to the forefront of the world economy.

Suresh Kamath, Managing Director of Laser Soft received the winner's trophy from Honorable Finance Minister Shri. Pranab Mukherjee, the Chief Guest for the Awards ceremony.

Laser Soft hired the first differently abled person in the year 1993. Presently, about 15% of the company's workforce is differently abled. The company employs differently abled people including Polio affected, speech impaired, hearing impaired, visually impaired, etc., holding various positions ranging from Office Assistant to Assistant Vice President (Technology). The severity of disability varies from 60% to 95%.

The company takes care of the diversity element in all aspects of facility and operations by making the environment differently abled friendly.
