First Tea Party Express Rally a Huge Success in San Diego!
By Alan Gray, NewsBlaze
The Tea Party Express II: Countdown to Judgment Day launched today with a giant rally in San Diego. The crowd was huge, with the sun shining on this naval town with the rally on the water and the U.S.S. Midway as the backdrop.
Organizers told NewsBlaze it was an exciting and meaningful event, with huge energy radiating through the crowd. They said Keith Olbermann and other critics of the Tea Party Express would now have to eat their own words, because "We The People" came together in San Diego today and the voices of the people were heard.
Speakers included nationally syndicated radio talk show host, Roger Hedgecock and California State conservative, Chuck DeVore, who is challenging Barbara Boxer for Congress. The musical performers were great.
Continuous tour updates are to be posted at the
Tea Party Express blog.
There has been explosive growth in the number of people sending RSVPs to come to a Tea Party Express rally. Respondents can now RSVP and invite others to participate by clicking the "Invite People to Come" link, located under the square logo on the upper right portion of the page.
Organizers said some in the media and liberal activists, such as Keith Olbermann are just wating for them to have a small crowd so they can say the tea party movement is "failing" or falling apart. Their plan now is to work the schedule, to build crowd size all along the route.
Contributors are helping them to build as they go, raising money for advertising campaigns to turn out huge crowds. People can contribute at their secure website, or contributions can be mailed to their headquarters, at Our Country Deserves Better Committee ATTN: Tea Party Project 770 L Street #1020 Sacramento, CA 95814
Organizer, Joe Wierzbicki thanked everyone for their support, saying, "We've got a lot of work to do to take our country back, and we couldn't do it without you".
