robert j draper ATLANTA, Ga., Oct. 23 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- Global Legal, a leading risk consulting and discovery management company, announced today that Robert J. Draper, formerly Managing Director of LEX On Demand, has joined the firm as National Director of Business Development. Draper will supervise a wide variety of assignments throughout the Southeast, Midwest and New York including data preservation, corporate investigations, fraud and detection, due diligence and regulatory issues.

"Global Legal has a long history of commitment to public service, and in hiring Rob, we continue in that tradition," said Manny Kaloyannides, President. "Rob brings a wealth of experience to Global that will be a tremendous asset to our clients and added capabilities in the region."

Draper comes to Global Legal following eleven years in the industry handling a multitude of tasks, where he most recently served as Managing Director at Lex. He consulted and managed a broad range of cases throughout his career, including corporate fraud, organized crime, money laundering, public corruption, securities fraud, and regulatory violations. Most notably, he managed the capture and reproduction of documents for the Bridgestone/Firestone rollover matter.

Draper began his career as an Operations Manager in Detroit, Michigan. In this role, he managed the largest production team in Michigan and created effective solutions to the most challenging client concerns. Through his strong foundation in operations he was able to hone his consulting skills, where he helped to support the area's largest anti-trust and tort resolution matters, including Compuware v. "eDiscovery and litigation management has always been a high pressure, multi-faceted and potentially error prone process," said Robert Draper. "New legislation and court rulings have increased demands on both corporate and legal clients. We have invested significant time, research and development to optimize our offerings to meet our clients' most explicit needs. Above all, we are improving process and communication, giving our clients better access to data and information with an enhanced ability to track and manage the entire eDiscovery process. I am excited about this real opportunity to deliver critical support and value to both law firm and corporate clients."

Global Legal combines its eDiscovery expertise and proven process with advanced automated content processing technology to ensure rapid and precise preparation of raw data for review.
