Letter to the Editor
"We are a UNITED States of America"
Dear NewsBlaze Editor:
I know all of us recall the first of Barack Obama's many empty challenges and promises. It was his "We are a UNITED States of America" speech at the 2004 Democratic convention where the mainstream media joined a suddenly formed mass of lemmings proclaiming him the America's political Messiah.
A funny thing happened on the way to the canonization. It seems the true Obama agenda somehow got in the way of his nonstop trumpeting that he would lead a bi-partisan America and work together with Republicans. In fact it's become worse than any of us would have even dared to imagine. Now not only has he plunged our Nation into a massive deficit that is predicted to surpass $10 trillion but he has rammed through a bailout package roughly $1 trillion on straight party lines that has resulted in 20,000 new jobs for America, if you do the math it's not much bang for the billion. Then he pushed through tax dollars for clunkers and now he's facing an awakened America that he didn't want to see the details and specifics of his Health Care plan.
It gets worse. Now anyone who dares even speak out publicly against him is demonized. Case in point, look at Fox News. Under Barack Obama, Osama Bin Laden is no longer our public enemy #1; it's now the new anchors at Fox who aren't following the sheep herd press in worshiping him. Putting terrorism, a foreign conflict and a time bomb deficit aside he used his full energies to attack and label them.
I suppose this shouldn't be a surprise from a man who listened to Rev. Jeremiah Wright for 20 years. Under Barack Obama there is no "United" States of America, but due to his arrogant actions there is indeed growing a United Citizenry. It is growing exponentially despite all efforts by the liberal Democrats and it shall bode him wishing he'd kept his word come both 2010 and 2012.
