Free Event: Folsom Police 2009 Equine Challenge
The Folsom Police Department's Equine Unit welcomes the public to the 2009 Equine Challenge, a free event at the Dan Russell Rodeo Arena, 202 Stafford Street below Lyon's Park.
The event will be this Saturday, October 24th, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
An equine challenge highlights the partnership and trust between an officer and their horse. The teams will demonstrate the skills of search and rescue as well as routine mounted patrol functions.
The Folsom Police Department's four equine units, are joined at this event by officers and search and rescue personnel from several jurisdictions.
