NEW YORK, Oct. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Vitech Systems Group, Inc., a leading provider of enterprise software to group benefit administrators, announced today that it has just completed a major V3 Benefit System implementation for the state of Hawaii's Employer-Union Health Benefits Trust Fund. V3 was implemented for EUTF as a replacement to their legacy enrollment, accounting, and imaging applications.

EUTF administers health benefits to about 54,000 active state employees, 36,000 retirees and 75,000 dependents in Hawaii. The V3 Benefits System is now used by EUTF to maintain participant demographics, manage plan definitions, process health benefit enrollments, bill and collect related premiums, and transmit monthly data to insurance carriers. EUTF also uses V3's customer service, workflow, imaging, and extensive reporting capabilities.

"We are so pleased to have partnered with EUTF on the implementation of their new V3 solution," said Frank Vitiello, President of Vitech. "This success is the result of hard work and partnership between both organizations. It is a very positive reflection on V3's capabilities and EUTF's dedication to operational excellence."

EUTF's new V3 System went into production as scheduled after an 18 month implementation. Vitech provided related services including project management, solution design, solution integration, data conversion, quality assurance and training. Vitech and EUTF will now continue to work together to complete the deployment of employer and member self-service capabilities.
