New Training Portal Delivers Technical Education to the Vyatta Community

Vyatta, the leader in open networking and network virtualization, today announced Vyatta University, an affordable, online training curriculum that helps customers deploy and configure Vyatta routing and security solutions for maximum performance and security. At launch, the curriculum includes 13 courses covering a wide range of technical topics, including basic installation and configuration, BGP routing, firewall, network address translation (NAT), and multiple types of virtual private networking (VPN). The courses are designed to help Vyatta users, including Vyatta Community members, build their knowledge of Vyatta solutions through self-paced, online training.

"We have established Vyatta University with the same commitment to value that drives our software and appliances," said Dave Roberts, vice president of strategy at Vyatta. "Through the growing list of Vyatta University courses, our community can quickly and inexpensively develop the skills they need to maximize the use of Vyatta in their networks, whether solving problems with network security, virtual networking, or basic connectivity."
