Additech Announces Next Chapter in Company Leadership
HOUSTON - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Additech (www.additech.com),
North America's leading outsourced operator of at-the-pump interactive
merchandising systems today announced some changes in its leadership
team. As part of a development plan that began three years ago when
Andrew Austin was appointed President, he has today been named President
and Chief Executive Officer of Additech succeeding Ralph Koehrer, who
had been Additech's Chief Executive Officer for the last 6 years. Ralph
will remain with the company as a director and as Chairman of the Board.
The Board of Directors has also appointed Kirt Scott, Additech's senior
technology executive, as Executive Vice President, and Jim Timmer,
Additech's senior operating executive, as Chief Operating Officer.
"The time has come for me to hand over the day to day responsibility to
my colleague and good friend of over ten years, Andrew Austin. We
appointed Andy as President in February 2006 with the expectation that,
one day, he would take on the CEO role. And I can tell you that, as
President of Additech, Andy's support has proved invaluable," said Ralph
Koehrer, Chairman of Additech. "There will be a gradual transition over
the next three months or so while Andy settles in to his new
responsibilities. My commitment to the success of Additech has not
changed in any way; I will just be playing a different role."
Andrew Austin commented "We are fortunate that we have built a strong
leadership team whose skills and abilities complement each other very
well. And with our new inFAD technology and our commercial agreement
with Dresser Wayne, Additech is entering a new chapter. I want to thank
Ralph for his leadership the past 6 years and I look forward to
continuing to work with him and to ensure that Additech extends its
leading position in the at-the-pump interactive merchandising market."
Andy joined Additech in October, 2004. In February, 2006 he was
appointed as President. Before joining Additech, Andy spent over fifteen
years creating successful marketing and business growth strategies for
leading Fortune 1000 corporations and early stage ventures. As a
management consultant at The MAC Group/Gemini Consulting and Chicago
Strategy Associates, Andrew advised senior executives at over 30 Fortune
1000 corporations. He has deep experience creating and implementing
market-driven growth strategies across a range of technology, service,
and manufacturing industries. Andrew has performed interim marketing and
business development line roles on behalf of early stage ventures.
Andrew holds an M.B.A. from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern
University and a B.S. from LeMoyne College.
