About TRS Group, Inc.

TRS Group, Inc. is a carbon neutral company whose core technology - Electrical Resistance Heating (ERH) - is being delivered to the environmental remediation market and the emerging thermally enhanced oil recovery market. Since its launch in 2000, TRS has been the market leader and the premier provider of ERH services in North America for in situ soil and groundwater remediation.

The ERH technology applies electrical current below the surface via electrodes that are installed to the required depth of treatment or product recovery. As electrical current flows between these electrodes, the resistance creates heat. Targeted contaminants and water become vapors and steam that are recovered and treated at the surface. Viscous petroleum products are heated to reduce viscosity to achieve increased production rates. ERH targets reservoirs where currently no other viable means of recovery exist.

TRS Group is in the process of expanding its environmental remediation operations by forming international partnerships and joint ventures worldwide.
