Warm Congratulations to The People of Lesotho
On behalf of the people of United States, I would like to extend my warm congratulations to the people of Lesotho as they celebrate 43 years of independence on October 4.
Our two nations are working together as partners to enhance the security and prosperity of the entire region. We look forward to continuing our cooperation and partnership with the Basotho nation to improve education, promote better health, protect the environment and expand trade opportunities.
On this historic occasion, we send our best wishes for the year ahead and reaffirm the commitment of the United States to work together with Lesotho to build a peaceful and prosperous future for all our people.
