Leading-Edge Marketing Professionals Will Get to the Next Level With Original Knowledge Series
DENVER, Oct. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- As part of a new and valuable partnership with the University College at the University of Denver (DU), the Colorado Chapter of the American Marketing Association (CoAMA) is excited to announce an original professional development event format - the Knowledge Series.
The CoAMA Knowledge Series is a hands-on workshop series that will sharpen attendees' knowledge of emerging marketing trends and best practices. Participants will have the opportunity to learn tactical approaches that can be applied to their everyday jobs. The Series was created in an effort to elevate the value of CoAMA's current professional development offerings, keeping participants ahead of the curve in this challenging economy with more in-depth training in particular subjects.
Each Knowledge Series professional development event will feature industry experts that will facilitate discussion and participation. CoAMA is always looking for ways to enhance its overall organizational capabilities to make it more valuable to professional marketers, and the introduction of the Knowledge Series is an important step in achieving this goal.
"We feel it is important to offer the marketing community relevant and timely topics that could impact their job now," said CoAMA Chapter President Sally Mayberry. "In a tight economy, many of us have to wear a number of hats, so improving our marketing skills and knowledge may mean the difference in keeping an existing job or getting a new one."
Following are the details for the upcoming Knowledge Series events. All events will be held at the University of Denver, University Hall, Room 306, from 5:30 - 7:00 pm (1/2 hr networking and refreshments, 1 hr hands-on workshop).
