Humana Hosts Popular Latina TV Personality Lucy Pereda at Telemundo's Hispanic Expo Sun., Oct. 4 in Tampa

The Free Event Also Will Feature Exercise Demos, Give-a-Ways and Information About Humana's 2010 Medicare Advantage Plans

What: Humana, Florida's largest Medicare health benefits company, is pleased to bring Latina TV personality and lifestyle guru Lucy Pereda to the 2009 Telemundo Feria de la Familia Hispanic Expo on Sun., Oct 4 at the Tampa Convention Center.

Ms. Pereda hosts and produces the long-running and top-rated home magazine syndicated TV series "En Casa de Lucy," which airs in 18 countries in Latin America, as well as Portugal. The popular TV personality, who just turned 65, talks to seniors about making the most of the "third stage" of life and about the health plan choices available to them.

The SilverSneakers® Fitness Program, which helps Humana Medicare Advantage members get and stay active, also will hold seniors' exercise demonstrations at the event.

La Feria de la Familia is an interactive family event, presented by WRMD, Telemundo's Tampa Bay affiliate. The Hispanic Expo, which last year attracted more than 8,000 people, is free and open to the public. In addition to seeing Ms. Pereda, attendees can also stop by the Humana booth for give-a-ways, drawings and information in English and Spanish on Humana's 2010 Medicare Advantage and Prescription Drug Plans.
