Millions of "Unemployed Angels" Waiting to Assist Those Seeking Help

DUBLIN , September 29 /PRNewswire/ -- According to a Baylor University study, 81% of Americans say they believe in angels to some extent, with 60% of Americans "absolutely" believing. And with the internationally best-selling Angels in My Hair by Irish mystic Lorna Byrne (http://www.lornabyrne.com), the momentum of angels is rapidly increasing.

Byrne has been seeing, hearing and speaking to spiritual entities she refers to as angels, since she was a baby. She understands that many might be skeptical, but suggests you suspend this disbelief.

The astonishing account of this previously unheard of dyslexic Irish widow has become an international best-seller spending 7 weeks on the UK Sunday Times best-seller list and 22 weeks at number one in her native Ireland. The book was published in the U.S. by Random House (Doubleday) in April after an undisclosed six-figure deal; the international rights have been sold for 45 countries; and several offers fromHollywood have already come in. But Byrne isn't phased.

"I don't know why I was chosen to deliver messages from the angels," Byrne said. "But they want us to know that God wants us to be happy, and to enjoy everything that we do. That's one reason why he sends us so many angels to help us through our lives. But many of us are not listening and believe that we can do everything ourselves. One consequence of these challenging times is that people are becoming more aware of their Guardian Angels. They seem to be more prepared to ask for help".

Religious leaders past and present including Rev. Billy Graham have spoken on the help given by angels. "The important thing is that angels exist, and even if we never see them, they still are at work behind the scenes on our behalf. Pope Benedict XVI said, "Let us trustingly invoke the angels help. They walk at our side and protect us in all circumstances... and to them we can turn at any moment."

"There is a Guardian Angel who is beside each and every one of us, regardless of our religion or beliefs," Byrne said. "Every angel wants to be employed, so I would encourage people to just ask the angels for help. It's as simple as that."
