Halloween Horror Nights : Universal Studios
By David Snyder
Halloween is getting near! Want to get really spooked this Halloween? Head to Universal Studios in Orlando or Hollywood and have the scariest time of your life. It's Halloween Horror Nights in both places, and one whole month of the most frightening entertainment you'll ever get to experience.
All you spook freaks make your travel plans right now, or you're going to miss out on your last chance this year to see some real spine chilling shows. The event starts in Orlando and Hollywood in the beginning of October and ends on Halloween Day on Oct 31st.
Those of you going to the Hollywood event, there are 16 nights in the month of October for you to get frightened to death. Starting on Oct 2nd, the event carries on until Oct 31st and there are 16 shows for you to enjoy totally. Remember, it's a night time event; so, be prepared to be awake the whole night.
That's actually a stupid thing to say, because if the shows are close to half as good as people say they are, rest assured, you won't be sleeping for many days after the event. There are many new attractions this year in the Hollywood event those guarantee to give you mild attacks, such as mazes, terror tram, scare zones, and shows and rides. Tickets start at $36 for advance booking, and $56 if you are buying your tickets on the day of event.
For those of you planning on attending the Orlando event, the event starts from Oct 4 and ends on Day of the Dead on Oct 31st. This year, there are eight new haunted houses, six new scare zones, and two new live shows apart from the usual gory stuff. Ticket prices are $39 for Sun-Thus, $49 for Fri, and $59 for Saturday. There's even a frequent fear pass for $69 if you are on a suicidal mission. So, if you've made up your mind to get freaked out, head to the best two scream parks in the country this Halloween.
There's one small issue that we haven't covered yet-your accommodation. Both, Hollywood and Orlando can get pretty crowded during the month when the events are on, and finding good accommodations can be quite a hassle. Even if you find accommodation, chances are they are overpriced or not good enough.
Hotels are expensive and not a good idea if you have a big family or are traveling in a group. Try vacation rentals instead. Vacation rentals are better options, because they're way cheaper than most good hotels, and most vacation rental properties can accommodate large families or groups of people. The best place to find vacation rental properties in both places would be Vacation Rental Deals. This site has fantastic vacation rental properties like condos, cabins, home rentals, and beach houses everywhere in the country listed on it.
People headed to the Hollywood event look for great deals on villas, studio suites, bungalows, condos, apartments, penthouses and a whole lot of vacation rental properties in and around Hollywood. Those of you hitting Orlando for the event can check for deals on properties like lake side villas, bungalows, condominiums, and a wide variety of rental properties that are offered at super rates on vacationrentaldeals.com. Try to find properties near the studios as that can save you the problem of commuting to and back from the events.
Remember, vacation rentals are better choices than hotels, any day, and if you're looking forward to spending Halloween in the finest rental properties on the planet and making great savings on your accommodation costs, then vacationrentaldeals.com is where you have to look.
There are two things that you have to note; kids under the age of 13 and your Halloween costumes are not allowed inside the event venues. Scaring people is strictly the prerogative of the event organizers. So, leave your costumes and your little ones in your rental, and let them have a small Halloween party while you're getting your blood curled at the shows.
