Stage 9 Theatre/Garbeau's: Recent Changes PLUS Wins More Elly Awards
This past weekend was a big one for Stage 9 Theatre/Garbeau's in Historic Folsom. On Saturday it was announced that the name of the theatre is changing to Stage 9 Theatre/Garbeau's. This was brought on by the addition to the artistic staff of Marc Ferreira the owner of Garbeau's in Rancho Cordova.
Garbeau's closed several months ago but now will be kept alive through an enterprise with Stage 9 Theatre. Stage 9 will continue to produce their award winning productions and Mark will be producing Garbeau's Live, a twice monthly Sunday evening cabaret. He will also be teaching and accompanying shows and handling publicity and marketing.
