MetroStar Systems Announces the X-Life Games "Who Am I?" Poetry Contest

The concept of cultural diplomacy is a key initiative of the X-Life Games mission. The contest encourages participants to be creative and express themselves by composing and submitting a poem that describes "who they are" while sharing ideas of tolerance and respect for other cultures, societies, and environments around the world. The grand prize winner, chosen in late October, will receive an Apple iTouch and $1,000.00 donated to a charity of their choosing.

"X-Life Games has been such a fun and educational experience thus far for everybody involved, and we wanted to figure out a way to commemorate this success," said Daniel Nguyen, Community Manager of X-Life Games. "By coordinating the Poetry Contest, we reward our fans with a challenge that yields fun and exciting prizes, as well as continues promoting cultural unification and understanding through the X-Life Games modules. We've chosen Facebook as the platform to conduct this contest, as it's clearly demonstrating its success at uniting a global audience."

Poetry submissions will be accepted until Sunday, October 4, 2009. Finalists will then be selected by judges ranging from MetroStar Systems' executives to professors from Georgetown University. Upon the selection of finalists, public voting will commence and ultimately decide the contest winners.
