Faith Hoops Hosting All-Star Sunday for Santa Cruz County Co-Ed Basketball League

Santa Cruz, CA, September 19, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Faith Hoops, a sports ministry entity specializing in basketball leagues, camps and 3-on-3 tournaments announced today that they will host an All-Star Day for the top players in their Santa Cruz County Adult Basketball League on October 11th, 2009 at Mt. Hermon Conference Center in Felton, CA. 16 players will compete in a full court 5-on-5 Basketball Game, sure to be a high scoring affair. The day will also include the Fox Racing Slam Dunk Contest, Verizon Wireless 3 Point Shootout, Big Brother Shootout, Carnival Games for the whole family, amazing raffle prizes and much more.

All-Star Sunday kicks-off at 3pm Sunday afternoon with outdoor family games and activities, while the contestants in the Verizon Wireless 3 Point Shootout warm-up for a 4pm start. The BBQ will be fired up shortly after kick-off, and dinner will be served starting at 4:30pm. At 5pm, the Fox Racing Slam Dunk contests (9ft and 10ft rim) will begin, followed by the 5-on-5 Game at 6:30pm. The halftime show will include the finals of the Slam Dunk Contest, as well as a Big Brothers Shootout competition.

“This is without question a family event, from toddlers to teenagers to grandparents. We want to unite families throughout the county for day of food, fun, fellowship and fantastic basketball entertainment,” said Ian McQueen, Faith Hoops President & CMO. Admission is free, and the setting amongst the redwood trees and greenery at Mt.
