Certified Management, Inc. of Hawaii Community Managers Receive CMCA Designation From National Board for Certification of Community Association Managers

HONOLULU, Sept. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Certified Management, Inc. of Hawaii, an Associa Company, proudly announces Kyle Drake, Kristi Hirota-Schmidt, Ryan Nitta and Pam Winslow recently earned the credential Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA), awarded by the National Board of Certification for Community Association Managers(NBC-CAM).

The CMCA credential signifies managers have passed NBC-CAM's national exam and met the requirements for managing condominium, cooperative and homeowner associations. Certified managers must also adhere to the CMCA Standards of Professional Conduct and take continuing education.

Mr. Drake has been in the business for more than 18 years and holds a real estate license. He currently manages 9 associations, consisting of low, middle and high-rise condominiums and single family homes. He also manages a luxury condominium, over $1,000, 000.00 per unit on the gold coast of Waikiki.

Ms. Hirota-Schmidt has been with Certified Management, Inc. (CMI) for more than three years and as VP of Business Development is responsible for the company's sales and marketing initiatives throughout the State of Hawaii. Ms. Hirota-Schmidt was also recently presented wit the prestigious honor of being selected as one of Pacific Business News "Forty Under 40 Class of 2009."

Mr. Nitta joined CMI at the beginning of 2009. He has a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Hawaii and his years of experience in the hospitality industry are evident in his interactions with his clients. Mr. Nitta is responsible for the management of six Associations consisting of townhomes, condominiums and a private marina.

Ms. Winslow also joined CMI in early 2009. Prior to joining CMI, Ms. Winslow owned and operated her own small business for 15 years and won numerous awards in her industry. Her portfolio currently consists of six associations including high-rise condominiums, single family homes and townhome communities.
